During spring and summer 2024, I helped lead the migration of the Tahoma School District website and nine school websites to a new CMS, Finalsite. This project included a research phase, including analysis of web analytics to inform web layout and design. The planning phase included assigning and delegating tasks, planning new content creation, and constructing timelines and priorities. The implementation of the content spanned several months, including the creation of new subpage templates and content, capturing and creating new media, and restructuring the site map. The evaluation phase, still ongoing, includes feedback from stakeholders and will comprise a continued analysis of Google Analytics and Google Search Console data to inform future modifications to the site.

One particular piece that I hope is especially helpful to web visitors is the "How Do I..." section, which guides current families and students to helpful information and serves as a roadmap to the new website. Additionally, the Weglot translation tool, accessed in the bottom right corner of any page of the site, provides web translations for our district's top-5 languages spoken by families.
